Faculty and Clinical Instructors Leading Live-Patient Implant Education

Med Dent EDU faculty are experienced clinicians who teach from daily practice, not theory. Every instructor involved in Med Dent EDU courses actively performs implant surgery, sinus augmentation, and full-arch rehabilitation on a regular basis. Instruction is delivered chairside, in real clinical environments, with live patients—not simulations or observation-only settings.

This faculty model ensures that dentists are learning techniques, workflows, and decision-making processes that are directly applicable to modern private practice.

Faculty Philosophy: Clinicians Teaching Clinicians

Med Dent EDU courses are intentionally limited to small cohorts to preserve a true mentorship environment. Faculty work directly with participants throughout diagnosis, planning, surgical execution, and post-operative review.

The focus is not on lectures or scripted instruction, but on real-time clinical guidance, problem-solving, and case-based learning. Faculty members remain chairside during procedures to guide technique while allowing participants to develop independent clinical judgment.

This approach ensures that education is practical, relevant, and immediately transferable.

Chairside Mentorship Across All Course Levels

Faculty involvement is consistent across all Med Dent EDU programs. Dentists are not rotated through stations or left to observe from a distance. Instead, instructors remain actively engaged with each participant throughout the course.

Faculty mentorship includes:

Case selection and CBCT review

Surgical planning and sequencing

Chairside guidance during live procedures

Real-time correction and feedback

Post-operative case discussion and review

This level of involvement is central to Med Dent EDU’s educational model.

Teaching Across the Full Clinical Pathway

Faculty teach across the full Med Dent EDU course progression, ensuring continuity of philosophy and technique:

01

Level 1 Basic Implantology

02

Level 2 Intermediate Implant Placement

03

Level 3 Advanced Sinus Lift Training

04

Level 4 Full Arch / AOX Digital Workflow

This continuity allows clinicians to build skills progressively while maintaining consistent surgical principles.

Ongoing Mentorship Beyond the Course

Faculty support does not end when the course concludes. Med Dent EDU emphasizes ongoing mentorship, including post-course case discussions, treatment plan review, and access to recorded educational webinars.

This continued access allows participants to apply what they’ve learned with confidence and receive guidance as they integrate new procedures into their practices.
